These resolutions work to ensure diamonds that are sourced from unethical sources, often referred to as ‘blood diamonds’, are not brokered through mainstream diamond wholesalers.

Colour

Argyle Chocolate & Pink Diamonds are the only coloured diamonds whose colour is not the result of impurities in the stone. Although there is no definitive answer for what causes the differences in colour of an Australian Chocolate Diamond, it appears to originate from immense pressure and heat that cause the process of plastic deformation and reformation.
